Eva Shaderowfsky's work is in several museum collections, including the
Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Portland Museum of Art, the
Chrysler Museum of Art, as well as in private collections.
In the Lower Hudson Valley, she had one-person shows at the
Rockland Center for the Arts, Hopper House and the Turning Point. Her work has
appeared in many books and magazines, as well as newspapers and online galleries.
Born in Prague a few months before the Nazi annexation of Czechoslovakia,
Eva's family escaped and arrived in New York City when she was two and a half.
In addition to a lifetime in photography, Eva is a published writer, critic,
essayist, and online community consultant. For many years, she hosted

Eva died of lung cancer September 13, 2007.
